Consultant (Programmer/Analyst)

TechHouse is a premier technology consulting firm located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.  Our Systems Integration practice serves customers with business solutions based on MS CRM, MS SharePoint, MS SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and C#/VB.net.  TechHouse is a great place to work if you enjoy a continuous learning environment and a collaborative team based approach.   We are pragmatic and focused on delivering effective solutions to our customers.   Our customers are Small and Mid-Market businesses throughout the local area and the U.S; however, most of our work is performed from our offices.  There will be minimal travel required on occasion to kick off projects and drive them forward. Less than 10% travel is typical.

We are currently seeking a full time Consultant to our team as a Programmer Analyst.  The programmer analyst will be a technical lead in our Systems Integration practice.  This job includes participating in the full systems life cycle as a developer, inclusive of providing input to and assisting with solution design, testing, and implementation.  The Programmer Analyst will also mentor junior programmers on the team. There is potential to grow this position to a practice lead.

 
  • Two or more of the following development skills:
    Asp.net (C# or VB)
    Windows Forms
    SharePoint (2010 or 2007)
    MS CRM (2011)
  • MS SQL 2008 or 2005 TSQL. ( Nice to have but not required: SSIS, SSAS)
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine interest in and passion for software development and technology solutions for business

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in above development tools or 2 years of experience with MS Certification.

•Solid day to day user skills with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Note- we require all of our consultants to be certified in their areas of expertise. If you are not certified we will ask you to actively work towards that certification as part of the onboarding process and your initial time with us.

Marketing/Inside Sales Representative

The two primary goals of Marketing/Inside Sales are (1) to identify and drive net new customers and (2) nurture and maintain relationships with existing customers. Our methods are primarily via learning events, sponsoring community events, Social Media, and related marketing and inside sales activities. This position requires cold calling for event attendance but not for purchasing. Marketing/Inside Sales is supported by our Technical Consulting Team, our Strategic Sales Team and our BackOffice Accounting Team. 

 

The Marketing and Inside Sales Representative will work cooperatively with other members of the team to grow existing customers and create new customers.  Some of the activities include:

· Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner – primarily via marketing initiatives.
· Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
· Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes
· Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
· Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
· Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
· Setup and maintain customer files
· Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
· Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
· Follow company policies and procedures
· Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
· Perform other duties as assigned.
