We are kicking off our 4th Annual Summer Food Drive - Summer Harvest 2011on June 15th!
Local agencies are in need of food, now more than ever. TechHouse is sponsoring its 4th Annual Food Drive - Summer Harvest 2011 to support the Manatee County Food Bank and All Faith's Food Bank (which services Sarasota County). Please join us in helping the needy of our community by donating canned and non-perishable food items. The Food Drive runs until Labor Day weekend, and food is picked up regularly.
Donation bins are located at TechHouse offices (located in ComCenter Building - lobby area) with locations at 9040 Town Center Parkway, Lakewood Ranch and at 6150 53rd Avenue East/State Road 70, Bradenton as well as the Lakewood Ranch Cinemas on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.
If you would like to join us in this effort and have a donation bin dropped off at your business, please contact us at (941) 538-7800 or email CustomerCare@tech-house.com for arrangements.
We ask you to please take a moment and support this effort to feed those in need.
Thank you for your assistance.
Walk for the Kids
Please join TechHouse as we participate in a "Day for Kids" on Saturday, September 25th as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County celebrate the importance of kids and the adults who care about them with "Walk for Kids." Boys & Girls Clubs of America created this special day (Day for Kids) to foster stronger relationships between adults and children by educating them on the importance and value of spending meaningful time together. Day for Kids provides the opportunity for every adult to take a break, celebrate and renew their committment to children.
Hundreds of adults and children from our communities will gather together at Boys & Girls Club locations throughout Sarasota County to walk, talk, share a moment and make a kid's day. Walk for the Kids is asking the community to rally for the kids and support life-enhancing programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County. The entry fee for the walk is $25 and free for children under 18 yrs. old.
